Illinois Supreme Court Victory
On May 18th, the Illinois Supreme Court issued its opinion in the case of Governmental Inter-Insurance Exchange v. Judge, et. al. affirming the Appellate court's upholding of the Trial court's granting of summary judgment on behalf of our firm's clients. This ground breaking case establishes that in the case of alleged appellate legal malpractice the question, "What an Appellate court would have done?", is a question of law for the trial judge to resolve. Peter Monahan and Patricia Noonan represented our clients before the court. The opinion is posted in our library and can be read in its entirety.
