Lawrence R. Stolberg Has Become a Partner of the Firm
As a trial attorney, Mr. Stolberg concentrates his practice in the defense of litigation involving medical negligence, product liability, premises liability, and the defense of other general civil litigation matters. Mr. Stolberg attended college at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1985. He then attended law school at the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, and received his Juris Doctor in 1988. Mr. Stolberg was admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court in 1988, and during that year was also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Stolberg is a member of the Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois, which requires its members to have participated in a significant number of trials prior to gaining admission to its Bar. Prior to joining Alholm, Monahan, Klauke, Hay & Oldenburg, Mr. Stolberg practiced with various law firms, concentrating on personal injury litigation. He has tried a significant number of cases to verdict, and has successfully represented his clients in medical negligence matters and catastrophic injury matters in Chicago and the Collar counties. Mr. Stolberg is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He is also trained and certified as an Arbitrator in Cook and Lake County.
