Maldonado v. Bobrakov
Not guilty verdict

Lawrence R. Stolberg, a Partner in the firm, and Adnan A. Arain, participating in his first jury trial, returned a not guilty verdict in the wrongful death (medical negligence) claim entitled Estate of Carmen Maldonado, deceased v. Erem Bobrakov, M.D.

The trial, which concerned the death of Mrs. Maldonado, was held before Judge Thomas Hogan on October 25 - November 3, 2006.

Plaintiff sought damages as follows: $2 million for
wrongful death on behalf of decedent's husband; $2.1
million for wrongful death on behalf of 6 adult
children and $1 million conscious pain and suffering.
