The Cedeno case was the subject of perceptive analysis by Martin O'Hara in the IDC Quarterly, Second Quarter 2004 issue.

Mr. O'Hara points out that Cedeno represents an extension of the Land v. Greenwood defense, strengthening the "but for" causation rule and allows for the proposition that a mistake of law by the trial court could constitute a causation defense.

Mr. O'Hara's commentary has been placed in our on-line Library.
